COURSE TITLE:
Social Network: opportunities and strategies for the business world.

SCHOOL NAME:
Consorzio Campus Multimedia In-Formazione

OBJECTIVES
The course aims to provide students with an opportunity to study and reflect on social networks and the opportunities these tools also offer the business world.
The birth, development and consolidation of social media has changed our way of doing business and the marketing strategies adopted by companies, leading to the creation of new professional figures in the digital world, which are of crucial importance to companies.
The course comprises theoretical lessons alongside workshops aimed at enabling students to gain an understanding and specific expertise in the sector.

CONTENT
The course will illustrate the evolution of Internet and the advent of Web 2.0.
Special attention will be paid to the services offered by Web 2.0 and the transformation made possible by social media: no longer in a passive role, the user is now the producer and distributor of content.
The opportunities provided by social media to the business world, to companies and television broadcasters, in particular, will be studied in depth, analyzing the resulting brand development on these platforms in the light of new social media marketing strategies.

Ample space will be given to the social networks, to their creation and development and to the incredible success of Facebook.
Attention will concentrate on Facebook as an ideal place for business, where companies can promote themselves through engagement advertising with specific targets and a specific tool (the Page) with which they can converse directly with their consumers, increase their brand value and bring it closer to the consumer in an active and “descriptive” way.

The course will focus on the most effective social media marketing strategies used by the 50 top brands on Facebook, highlighting the levers that make them better than others in terms of social reputation in the digital media era.

The course will provide students with the tools for understanding the business potential of social platforms based on successful case histories and practical exercises related to the development of social identity in companies, with special attention to those in the world of television:

  • Technology, infrastructure.
  • The importance of control and security on social platforms to ensure online reputation.
